First off, JOB has a long O sound like in OK and CLOSED.

OK? Ok. CLOSED, the second "album" by JOE PATT's alter-ego, JOB 6 PAC, is not a Covid 19/Halloween album. Writing and wrecording did not begin in the basement in late March 2020, following the announcement of the Covid 19 quarantine. Ten songs did not begin to take shape after a couple of months. Mixing and serious obsessing did not begin in earnest until early to mid summer with the idea of getting everything ready for release by Halloween. By September the tunes weren't ready for mastering at which time they weren't sent to Matt Engstrom for sculpting, buffing and general sonic massaging.

Matt DID do an excellent job and JOB is very happy with the results. So, after about six months, the tunes that began at the beginning of a pandemic are actually ready for release right before Halloween. Maybe CLOSED is a Covid 19/Halloween album, at least in spirit.

The songs on CLOSED provide a joyously dark romp through the psychedelic backwoods and sewers of the ALL mind. Sonically superior, more focused and more pleasing to the ears than JOB's first "cassette", PRONOUNCED. CLOSED is a woozy, holy mess of rhythmic noise coupled with loving melodies and sinister humour coupled with sweet gestures. Herein lies everything from psychedelic love songs to sem-meditative drones to garage stompers to experiments of a more topical nature. You want it, JOB got it!
